Presenting on approach as a dark box-like form, Chenier by Eastop Architects is a shadowy, enigmatic presence that seems almost conscientiously apart from the site it hovers above. Chenier seeks to bring forth a dialogue between landscape and architecture. Playing with the framing of space, views and garden, it holds high the essence of a coastal home, while exploring the possibilities that such a typology holds.
